Sure, it doesn't take into business relationship Ichigo personally growing stronger over time, but with all the talk of Ichigo'southward immense reiatsu...maybe he just pulled all of it out temporarily to defeat Kenpachi. I thought it would had been more of an asspull if the humans with powers (who probably haven't battled anything more than normal hollows since Menos Grande are very rare in the world of the living) were stronger than the centuries old Shinigami. And so when Ichigo and Ginjo went for their terminal fight and so shortly, I thought it was clear this was just a short arc to show how Ichigo got his powers back. Plus Reji (who thanks to Kisuke and Mayuri can now travel to Hueco Mundo to fight stronger hollows and arrancar) reveled that they've been training to fight Aizen (foreshadowing that he will escape and that they already look it) and then of grade they're curb stomping them.
    • Regarding the increase in power, the captains and vice-captains' reiatsu was used to bring forth Ichigo's fallow powers that had been jolted awake past his fullbring training. it is unlikely that he got ALL of their power, since they are however shown to kick some donkey. Also,about the "Getsuga being stronger" thing, he could have been referring to the Gesuga Tensho that ichigo used in fullbring, which probably was not equally potent as his regular Getsuga.
• Why did Ichigo's Hollow mask change? Rukia lampshaded this by asking the question herself, but it was never stated how information technology went from existence white with three nighttime cherry-red stripes on the left side of its forehead to being all-black on the left side with white stripes, to having two black vertical confined.   • The REASON Hollow is toxic to Quincies is the massive imbalance caused. Remember the whole Soul Suicide thing when someone's Plus and Hollow oasis't stabilized yet?
